• Fill out health pass online.

• If you have a vaccination card, you must have the dates of the 3 doses written down, with the batches of the vaccines, you can use it without having to present proof.

• If you have a digital vaccination certificate issued by the Ministry of Health, you can use it without having to present proof.

• If you do not have vaccinations, you must present a negative PCR or antigen test 72 hours before your trip. We have an agreement in the San José Laboratory.

• You must have a valid passport in good condition.

  • 0-3 years do not pay. It does not include food, they share a bed and depending on the date they must be raised.

  • All the hotels we work with are of excellent category. They have private rooms, private bathrooms (not to be shared with strangers), cuenta  con  hot water, air conditioning, daily breakfast at the hotel (they should not go to  other  places). The hotel is assigned at the time of booking




 

Recommendations:

  • Sunscreen, suntan lotion, hat, sunglasses, comfortable clothing.

  • The currency in Panama is the dollar, carry low-denomination dollars since some places do not accept cards.

  • Wear Aqua Shoes (shoes for walking in the water). Travel with comfortable clothes

TRAVEL ITINERARY

 

FIRST DAY:

 

Departure from the following points:

 

  • Heredia: CR Post Office, north side of Central Park. 4:00 a.m.

  • Alajuela: The Radial Pump. 4:20 a.m.

  • San Jose: National Theater. 4:35 a.m.

Schedules are confirmed 3 days before *

 

Transfer through the Caribbean, with a first stop for breakfast (as long as you travel in the morning, breakfast not included). If you travel at night, you will be given a snack at customs and continue to the border with Sixaola.

Once we arrive at Sixaola we must carry out 2 procedures: leaving Costa Rica and entering Panama (Guabito). They must bring the voucher del  tax paid of $8 for land tax. The $10 entrance fee to Playa Rana Roja and the ICT must be given to the guide. Panama taxes are suspended until further notice.

From Guabito we continue a 45-minute journey to Puerto Almirante, where a boat awaits us to take us to Isla Colón -among channels and islets-.

Depending on the time, shopping is done in Changuinola before continuing to Puerto Almirante (at the guide's discretion).



 

After arriving at Isla Colón, we proceed with the check-in at the assigned Hotel.

The afternoon is free to enjoy the town, the guide will tell you about different activities that you can do on the Island and you will also be informed of the places where you can have dinner.

A small bike tour around the island can be arranged with the guide, bike rental $2 - $3 per hour.



 

SECOND DAY:

 

Breakfast included in the respective hotel: from 7:00 am to 8:30 am.

 

At 9:00 am in the morning, they proceed to board the boats and go out to the tour of the dock that the guide indicates.

 

Visit to the Bocatorito Lagoon in Bahía Almirante (known as  Bahía  Delfines),  residents we will observe the dolphins Cristobal.

 

Visit to Cayo Coral, perfect for observing fish and snorkeling. 

 

Visit to Cayo Zapatilla, which is a Paradisiacal Beach in which it is famous for its transparent waters and its beautiful white sand, depending on the maritime conditions indicated by the captain. or a visit to Red Frog Beach (Playa Rana Roja) is made. The boat leaves us at the dock. It takes a nice 10-minute walk on a path in the middle of the mountain to get to the beach. On the beach you can  rent  beach chairs, practice beach volleyball and simply enjoy the beautiful Panamanian Caribbean beach.




 

THIRD DAY:

Breakfast included in the respective hotel: from 7:00 am to 8:30 am.

At 9 in the morning, we proceed to board the boats and go on the tour. Visit to Playa las Estrellas You can enjoy the sea pools, located on the shore of the beach. We have beach chairs available - Free day at the beach




 

FOURTH DAY:

 

Breakfast included in the respective hotel: from 7:00 am to 8:30 am. If the shopping tour is not done on day 1, it will be done on day 4. Departure from Isla Colón: 9:00 am

Return to San José, Heredia and Alajuela between 6:00pm and 7:00pm. Lunch de  path  (not  included).

FROM PANAMA

 

  • Submit Negative Result of PCR TEST -Antigens upon entering PANAMA 48 hours before the test must be taken (if possible, take it printed or downloaded to the cell phone) 

  • Present ENTRY HEALTH PASS online - SWORN DECLARATION OF HEALTH (link will be provided by the guide in the Exclusive Communication Group via Whatsapp according to the date of travel)

  • Present Exit Ticket (INSIDE TOURS takes care of this)

  • Submit Hotel Reservation (INSIDE TOURS takes care of this)

  • Comply with Health Protocols during the trip

  • §Passengers under 5 years of age DO NOT NEED proof.

  • Passengers under 18 years of age with Epicrisis by Diagnosis TEA

  • (Asperger-Autism)

 

 

 

 

Passengers must meet requirements by GOVERNMENT 

FROM COSTA RICA

  • Payment of Land Departure Tax from Costa Rica (tax collection centers)

  • Payment of Land Portion Tax to ICT (INSIDE TOURS is responsible for the payment)

  • Authorized entry to COSTA RICA after verification of temperature and blood oxygen saturation test (if any of the 2 is altered, there is the possibility of issuing a Sanitary Order)

 

 




 

IMPORTANT NOTES OF THE TRAVEL ITINERARY:

 

Departure times for high seasons are changed to the night before the day of travel. Shopping: Changuinola and at the Guabito border are made as long as the weather allows it and it does not interfere with the migration procedures.

Transshipment is not carried out except in cases of force majeure that make it impossible for the transport to pass from CR (customs strike, closure of some route), in the event of  being  el_cc781905-5cde -3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_ same  not  is included.

A 10-minute grace period will be given after the hours indicated in the itinerary, after which the itinerary continues.

o For children and minors, it is necessary to carry the respective   permit  from the board of trustees and immigration.

HEALTH AND MEDICAL SERVICES:

  • Travelers with health problems should notify Inside Tours well in advance of the date the trip begins.   • It is advisable to take out travel assistance insurance from INS. ($50 per person) and you can ask us for insurance if you want to buy it.

 

CANCELLATIONS:

  • Cancellations made after the space has been reserved will be  penalized with 100% of the value of the service paid at the time, for which no refund will be made.

  • NO SHOW passengers for any reason: 100% penalty. In the event that they show up after the 10-minute grace period, they will be able to catch up with us on the way, either at another point, breakfast stop or border.

RESERVATIONS:

To make a reservation please send the following information:

 

  • Full names of passengers

  • Date you want to travel

  • Photo of valid passports

 

Once the data has been sent, you have 5 days to make the reservation payment of $100 per person, non-refundable, with this payment your departure is confirmed for the indicated date.

 

You can make payments to your account up to a week before the trip, where the total amount of the tour must be paid, otherwise the fields will be released.

WEAR A MASK

It is really important to wear a mask during your entire trip to Bocas del Toro. Please follow the recommendations of our team members regarding protocol.

HAVE CASH

Not all restaurants are accepting credit cards, therefore it is recommended to bring cash in dollars in small denominations.

DISTANCE

We know that it is a beach destination, the party is always present, please keep your distance in restaurants, discos and on the beach with other tourists. Let's respect the rules.
